I Want a Pink Christmas Tree

I’m dreaming of a pink Christmas…
Amazingly, pink Christmas trees are everywhere this season! You can even pick one up at Wal-Mart if you wish. I especially love the Hello Kitty adornment on this one! Somehow, I don’t think I am going to get away with having a pink Christmas tree. I think the men in my household will protest. Vehemently. It would be super cute, though. I have green walls, and green circles carpet, so it would be a very preppy slash mod move on my part.
It’s not going to happen, though.

No commentsA Pink Reason to Get Really Skinny Legs

I just love these thigh high stockings! They remind me of a burgundy pair that I used to wear with black cowboy boots, a miniskirt and a purple fringed cape in the late 80’s. The only thing is, they look way better on someone who can wear horizontal stripes on their thighs. How many people can claim that? So, until I’m a size 2, I guess I’ll wait. Still. How about some vertical stripes instead?
Oh, and these are only $6.44 at Amazon right now! Somehow I’ll bet they’ll be out of stock before I lose that extra 20 pounds…

No commentsGirl’s Night In Idea: Pink Candy!

There’s more to pink candy than cotton candy, although that stuff is delish. Type in “pink candy” on the Internet and see what comes up! Or go to your favorite candy store and wade through all of the brown and green stuff until you find the right color. You can also order custom M&M’s in a variety of pinks, including magenta!
I think that would be the coolest thing to have sitting out on my table for girl’s movie night…along with the p.i.n.k. vodka of course!

No commentsPink Panther Obsession
I have to confess, my obsession with pink definitely carries over to my man, The Pink Panther. It started when I was in Greece, and the only thing on TV was The Pink Panther. I realized how international this hepcat is and have been his biggest fan ever since. Who needs words to be cool?
I have a Pink Panther theme song ring tone, a Pink Panther sticker on my car, the Pink Panther Penthouse Party CD, Pink Panther yoga cards…the list goes on. If you like the Pink, enjoy the video clip above. It’s a catchy little tune.

No commentsMarrekesh, The Pink City
I wonder if it’s true that Marrakesh is the pinkest city? It certainly looks that way, and besides the pink walls, pink veils, pink pots and pink shoes, their are the prettiest pink flowers–bougainvillea, stumbling up the clay walls.
Looks pretty pink to me, and I’ll be there are some gorgeous sunsets to top it all off. Definitely a pink lover’s paradise…
The downside, according to a friend of mine who traveled there extensively, is the bathrooms. Be prepared to squat.
There is some beautiful silver jewelry to be had, however. Wonderful pinkish stones. Imagine that!

No commentsPink Sheets
I recently read a bit of news about suburban folks and pink sheets, and I didn’t understand why people going to Target or wherever and buying up pink sheets was news. Then I learned that in the world of investing, pink sheets have absolutely nothing to do with sleep. Here’s the official definition, from Investopedia.
A daily publication compiled by the National Quotation Bureau with bid and ask prices of over-the-counter (OTC) stocks, including the market makers who trade them. Unlike companies on a stock exchange, companies quoted on the pink sheets system do not need to meet minimum requirements or file with the SEC.
Bleah. I wish that made since. Perhaps this is why I’m not rich.
