Pink Tiera

Wow. On my search for “pink glass”, I found this awesome pink tiara at tantalising-tiaras.com. It is made of pink glass, which is how I found it. Now, I can’t personally imagine myself in a situation in which I would be wearing a tiara, unless it was on Halloween, during which I can dress up as the pink princess or something like that. I just don’t attend the sort of parties where people actually wear tiaras. Seeing this beautiful pink tiara, though, I kinda wish I did!

No commentsPink Purses
Oh wow. I just love this pink Coach purse, which I found on eBay. It’s going for $229, and I am sorely tempted. Oh yes. The color pink on this purse is just absolutely perfect. There are two other identical ones listed, both at “Buy it Now” prices only. The prices are all about the same, so I don’t think I’m going to be getting this one for twenty bucks or anything like that!
Oh. Pink purse LUST.

No commentsWatch Out for Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is arriving quickly this year! It also so happens that my husband’s birthday falls two days after Valentine’s Day, so I am going to be strapped. One thing that I have been wanting to get hubby is a watch. I was browsing watches over at BlueDial.com, and looking at things like this
citizen watch, when I found the beauty pictured above and got totally distracted. Isn’t that a classy pinkish color? I LOVE it! So, now it’s become all about me and what I want…
I’m not that selfish, really. I may MENTION the pink watch, but that’s it. And I’ll still find my husband an awesome watch. Being a nature type of guy, I think he might like one of the Citizen Watch Company’s eco-friendly watches. They have several watches that operate off of light! How cool is that? Citizen Watch Company is cutting edge when it comes to watches, even while being a traditional company that was founded early in the 20th century.
That’s the thing about my husband. He will research something until he is blue in the face. I think he’ll enjoy receiving a gift that is known to be high quality rather than just any old thing I pick up off of a department store shelf. Because I can guarantee you that he’ll look it up! So now, I’ve got to go back and figure out which one HE would like and stop getting distracted by the pink! I’ve already got one in mind–the Arkitekt watch, which is a sleek stainless steel number. He’d like it, and the price is right!

No commentsEven Pink Hair Can Get Thin…
Three years ago, I experienced the hair-raising experience (forgive the pun) of seeing handfuls of my hair wash down the drain (to later clog it) when I washed my hair. My initial response was to not wash my hair as often. This wasn’t effective, since I merely found greasy hairs on my pillowcase instead. Since I wasn’t going through chemo, I just couldn’t figure out why I was losing so much hair. I have thick hair to begin with, which was a blessing. But it was quickly becoming thin. A panicky situation if there ever was one!
I mentioned this phenomena to my doctor, who told me that it was a normal reaction to starting synthetic thyroid drugs after having had my thyroid removed. I wonder if a product such as
nioxin would have slowed the loss? It eventually all grew back, but I know several women who can hardly part their hair because it is so thin that too much scalp shows.
Until recently, I didn’t know that there was a product available for women who experience hair loss. You can find it at Hello Gorgeous, and there are several systems available for different types of hair and degrees of thinning.
While I was checking out the site, I found some other things that I like very much, like Chi products. Their ionic color protector is great. As is their straightener! I hate to think about what my hair looked like before I bought my Chi straightener!
We can all be gorgeous! This is a site I’ll (tactfully) mention when the opportunity presents itself.

No commentsPut on a Pink Bikini!
One thing about losing weight is that when you’re my age, and you’ve had a couple of kids, you aren’t going to find yourself wearing a bikini again unless you have either stupendeously good genes or
tummy tuck surgery. Having a tummy tuck is something that I’ve considered before–primarily as a reward for losing weight!
The thing is, when you lose weight, you find that your skin has lost its elasticity. At least this is the case if you’ve lost a LOT of weight, such as 100 pounds. It can also be the case if you have had babies. Pregnancy can really stretch out the skin on your stomach, leaving you looking saggy. And, if you’ve been pregnant more than once AND have lost a lot of weight, you probably know what I’m talking about.
Unless you have those super genes, of course.
Which most of us don’t. That’s the reason I look at websites like MYA, which stands for Make Yourself Amazing. It is one of the most comprehensive sites on cosmetic surgery that I’ve ever seen. The customer service that is available is confidence-inspiring as well.
It’s pretty easy to get information from MYA. They have both a phone number and a handy form on their site. Oh, and while you’re there learning about tummy tucks, check out their competition. Fun!

No commentsPink Jeans

One of the reasons that I am trying to get thinner is because I want to wear pink jeans. The thing about wearing colored jeans is that you have to have the right sort of body to pull it off. While blue jeans are forgiving, pink ones are not. Especially hot pink jeans!
You can’t beat jeans, though, for versatility and ease of care. That’s why I love them so much. I’m just waiting for the day when I have the confidence to wear this pink pair of jeans!
