Pink Hair for Halloween

Truth be told, I’d probably wear it all of the time if it were respectable for high school teachers to do so. But as it is, I save it for Halloween. Somehow, I don’t think I’m going to scare anyone with this.
It’s a lot more fun than those purple highlights I got two years ago. I mean, why go halfway?? Looking back, I’m really surprised that I didn’t do this in college. The closest I ever got was spiking my mohawk with red jello. Since I had brown hair, it wasn’t that big of a thing. Today, well, I’d do it right. ![]()

No commentsMarrekesh, The Pink City
I wonder if it’s true that Marrakesh is the pinkest city? It certainly looks that way, and besides the pink walls, pink veils, pink pots and pink shoes, their are the prettiest pink flowers–bougainvillea, stumbling up the clay walls.
Looks pretty pink to me, and I’ll be there are some gorgeous sunsets to top it all off. Definitely a pink lover’s paradise…
The downside, according to a friend of mine who traveled there extensively, is the bathrooms. Be prepared to squat.
There is some beautiful silver jewelry to be had, however. Wonderful pinkish stones. Imagine that!

No commentsPink Sheets
I recently read a bit of news about suburban folks and pink sheets, and I didn’t understand why people going to Target or wherever and buying up pink sheets was news. Then I learned that in the world of investing, pink sheets have absolutely nothing to do with sleep. Here’s the official definition, from Investopedia.
A daily publication compiled by the National Quotation Bureau with bid and ask prices of over-the-counter (OTC) stocks, including the market makers who trade them. Unlike companies on a stock exchange, companies quoted on the pink sheets system do not need to meet minimum requirements or file with the SEC.
Bleah. I wish that made since. Perhaps this is why I’m not rich.

No commentsp.i.n.k. Vodka, Rum, etc.

Talk about getting on top of a trend! Whoever thought up p.i.n.k. nailed it. Not only do they have the ubersavvy color pink affiliated with their (clear) brand, but they are also on the energy drink bandwagon. Drink p.i.n.k. and you’ll be getting a dose of caffeine as well as guarani. Nothing like an alert drunk person to keep the party going ALL night long!
Me, I just like the bottle. The pink flower petals in the photo are a nice bonus. ![]()

Yummy gorgeous! I just love that a person can find such delicious templates on the Internet and use them without knowing a scrap of code…for FREE! I found this one over at Free Blogger Templates, and if you are so inclined, you can go over there and grab the code. There’s plenty more goodies as well, just in case pink flowers aren’t your thing. But if that was the case, you wouldn’t be over here, would you?

No commentsNot Blue, But Pink Flower Cards! Free Template!
Okay, okay, it’s not pink. But that’s the point, really. I just love this beautiful card, only if I made it, of course it would be a pink daisy! The beauty of it is, you can find a free daisy flower template over at Card Inspired! How cool is that? I’m picturing myself sending these cuties as thank you notes at work. I can also see how my crocheted pink flowers would look cute tacked in the middle. Just what I need, a new hobby…
